XII International FKL (Forum Klanglandschaft) / Forum for the Soundscape Symposium on Soundscape invites you to “Ways of Listening,” taking place from September 24–27, 2025, in Catania, to rediscover the diversity of listening — as a way of knowing, as a political act, and as an aesthetic experience. "Klack - or the laws of thermodynamics"

On stage, jars are filled with freshly cooked jam, placed under the spotlight, and miked. The audience listens to the inconspicuous yet decisive moment: the ‘click’ of the lids as a vacuum forms during cooling. This acoustic signal announces the success of the preserving process — an act oscillating between the laws of thermodynamics, chance, and patience.
