Sonnenlauf
SUNRUN consists of a 2.10-metre-high geometrical-like sculpture controlled by electro-robotic mechanisms.
Unlike the traditional construction of a haystack, which seems to be based on inherited parameters of nature, this sculpture acts like a mutant. With its externally controlled mechanisms, the sculpture follows new, space-immanent standards and reacts unpredictably within the system. Apparently following the solar run, a daily 24-hour rhythm, the robotics develop threatening gestures, which can only be kept under control through physically obeyed boundaries.
